My name is Kevin C Smith from Rochester Hills, Michigan USA.

I am researching my 3rd-great grandfather Thomas TURNBULL born abt. 1825 in Woodhorn, Northumberland County England and Mary Mitcheson born abt. 1822 Mitford, Northumberland England. I would love to find out more about their ancestors and decendants. Thomas & Mary TURNBULL had five children:

George M TURNBULLS (b. 14 May 1847 Morpeth, NBL - d. 8 Dec 1922 Athens,IL USA) married Eleanor Darling Langley (b.1848-d.1880, NBL)
Thomas TURNBULL (b.abt 1851 Whalton, NBL) married Jane?(b.abt 1858 Monkwearmouth, Durham) they had three children:
..Sarah TURNBULL (b.1879 Wardley, Durham -d.)
..Thomas TURNBULL b.1880 Cambois, NBL -d.)
..Mary Ellen TURNBULL b.1883 Cambois, NBL -d.)
Robert TURNBULL (abt 1854 Newcastle, NBL -d.)
William TURNBULL (abt 1859 Bedlington, NBL -d.)
Elizabeth TURNBULL (abt 1857 Guide Post, NBL -d.)
Catherine Mitcheson TURNBULL(abt 1861 Bedlington, NBL -d.)

George Mitcheson TURNBULL was married twice, his 1st wife Eleanor Darling Langley (b.1848, Warkworth, NBL - d.28 Aug 1880); they were married in 1873 St. Stephen Parish, Low Elswick, Newcastle upon Tyne, NBL England. [Civil reg index 1837-1983 Vol. 10b page 12].

{"Ellen's" parents were William Langley (b.1811 Warkworth, NBL - d.1885 NBL )and Mary Darling (b.1810 Linden, NBL - abt.1971 NBL)
Ellen's three brother's also born in Warkworth were:
Thomas Langley (b.1842) who married Alice SHORT-Whalton in May 1871 Newcastle, NBL
William Langley (b.1843 -d.)
Edward John Langley who married Ann WHILLIS in June 1872, Newcastle, NBL
I also have these family's descendents and ancestors.}

George Mitcheson TURNBULL and Eleanor Darling Langley had two children:
..Thomas Darling TURNBULL (b.14 Aug 1874 Newcastle, NBL - d.1914 Amble, NBL)

...Ellen Langley TURNBULL (b.1899 - d.1900)
...William Scott TURNBULL (abt.1901 - d.)

Thomas Darling TURNBULL was believed to have been killed in Newburgh Colliery Coal mine, NBL abt 1814. His son William and daughter Mary might have gone to Australia and/or New Zealand.
Thomas Scott TURNBULL may have married Mary Obrien in 1919 Wagga Wagga, NSW Australia.

George M TURNBULL nicknamed "Doad", who stayed behind married Isabella surname? and had 3 daughters:
...Maisie (b.1907 -d.)married a HOLLAND.

all still somewhere in northern England.

The George Mitcheson TURNBULL Sr. families settled in TN, IL, AL, MO, MI, CA,GA,UT-USA, Austrailia and other places as yet unknown.

Father Thomas Williamson died abt.1882 NBL, England. Some of the Williamson’s came to America prior to 1900.

I am interested in Thomas Turnbull's (b.1824-d.1867)Parents, Sibling, Aunts, Uncles, and Grand Parents as well as his Grandson George M "Doad" Turnbull's families, Wives Isabella and Martha, whose children and descendents remained in England.
