My grandfather was Royden Tyger, he died when I was 7, and his parents where both dead before my Dad was born so I do not have much of the family history other than what I have found here and searching the web.

Hello i have a picture of the children of Adam and Mary but I can not tell you who is whom. I would like to share family tree information with you. My great great grandfather was adam's son Jacob, one of johns brothers.

My name is Chris Tyger, Royden N Tyger was my grandfather, Adam Dalton Tyger was my great grandfather, John P Tiger was my great great grandfather, Adam David Tiger was his father, Abraham Tiger was his father, and Jacob Tiger was his father. If anyone could send me any pictures they have of them is would be wonderful. I only have Adam Dalton, and that I found on this site.

Also, Daughters of American Revolution list Jacob as a patriot for giving supplies to the rebels.

Martha-----The picture of Jacob Tiger was married to Barbara Ann Smith----He was my great Grandfather-----I believe this picture was the one I sent to Edward----My grandmother was Mary Jane Tiger married to George W .White--- Mary Jane gave me the picture of her father Jacob and Barbara Ann------Regards Jane Kolb Jimk36@aol.com

Hi Mr Sherry, Clark Tiger was my great grandfather and I have pictures of Jacob and Barbara ann the parents of charles and clark. I have a family site on my family.com where I place information to share with other family members.Let me know if you are interested.

Sources list the wife of George Vanlone (08 Nov 1800, Stone Arabia, Montgomery, NY) as Nancy Daggett. However, in 1850 I find George Vanlone (49) and Nancy (43) in Jefferson Co, WI with their oldest son Moses living next door with Wm Tyger (66) and wife Afy (60). I have read that the Tyger name was an alternate English-isation spelling for Daggett. So this may well be Nancy's father. Anyone else have a Tyger to Daggett name transformation?

I do not know Susan's brothers or sisters. All I know is she had a daughter named Dora Alvy Smith, who is my greatgrandmother.

Thomas John "T.J." Tyger, 24, son of Thomas D. and Sharon Campbell Tyger, was born May 1, 1980. He died Dec. 10, 2004, at Little Rock, Ark.
He married Brandy Seaton. They had one daughter.
Mr. Tyger joined the U.S. Air Force in 1999, trained and served as a firefighter including time in Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sherrell Campbell.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Shayla; parents of Houston; brother, Allen; sister, Sheena; grandparents, Joyce Campbell of Houston and Roy and Mary Tyger of Campbell.
Memorial services were Dec. 14 at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Ark.
Services are 11 o'clock today (Thursday) at the First Christian Church in Houston with burial in the Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Shayla Tyger Education Fund at First National Bank in Houston.

Hi Judy,

Your dates may be the right ones. LIke I said, I don't know where I got mine, and I've had bad information before. I didn't look for Susannah's headstone the last time I was in Indiana County - it was my first research trip, and I was suffering a bit from information overload. I'll put this on my list of things to look for the next time I go.

I had Susannah Tiger born 27-Jan-1852, otherwise what I have matches what you posted. I don't know anymore where I got the date I have. What was your source?

Gail do you know any of your Susan Tigers sisters or brothers? We have a Susannah Tiger married to a William H Smith in our family tree. Her parents were Adam David Tiger and Mary Philower. Susannah was born January 22,1842 in Canoe Twp, Indiana,PA. Susannah and William had a son named John Smith.

Judy -- I have been in touch with your brother Ed -- and sent him pictures of Adam Tiger and Mary Philhower--I do not know if he has told you about me -- My grandmother was Mary Jane Tiger and lived with us for many years --- She told me many stories about her family --- My grandmother told me that her Uncle "Abe"(Abraham) changed his spelling of Tiger to Tyger and the rest of the Tiger Family was not happy about it ---It didn't have anything to do with politics ---The Tigers were democrats --- I believe our daughter Mary Jane Maloney has been in touch with you --- we named her after my grandmother --- I must get busy and send your brother some more things ---I have to scan them first..regards Jane K jimk36@aol.com

Nice to meet you.Mabrey Earl was one of our grandfather Mervin`s brothers. We have a family site on MyFamily.com that I can add you to if you would like that. It will give you a lot of information and a few pictures. We have a family tree with a lot of the family on it there.
