TYRE or TYREE

1850 CENSUS of Independence Co, Ark. shows:
Michael 54 farmer b-NC
Nancy 54 b-VA
Malinda 22 b-TN
Stephen 21 farmer b-TN
Nancy A 18 b-TN
Nancy Anne was married to Franklin Allen Martin in 1851. John Franklin b-1852 son Thomas Tyre b-1854 and in 1856 a dau, Fannie Ella. In 1858 Nancy Anne died and in 1864 Fannie's father was killed in Civil War by a band of Jayhawkers, in front of his sons and slave named Drake.

lFannie also had two aunts, sisters to her mother, named Tabitha and Mary Jane who married the Horne brothers, Thomas Tyre Horne and Josiah Martin .
I guess I am sentimental as Fannie was grddau of my 2ndggf's brother, John Martin and I have always thought what sad childhood.
lParents dead before she was 8 yrs. and her paternal grdpa John Martin used to take by hoseback to vivist her other maternal grdparents the Tyres. They were getting old and no children around to play with and the old people stern with her. It has been a project of mine to find out where Tyres came from I have found name spelled both ways, but in Ark. seems mostly Tyre. Does anyone recognize any of these Tyres
