Claude R. Tyree, 60, of Acme, died Monday, March 31, 2008, in Top Sail, N.C. He was born Nov. 9, 1947, in Iaeger, W.Va., a son of the late Clinton Edward and Agnes Mildred Lester Tyree. He worked as an HVAC technician for Trimboli Heating. Claude was also a the proprietor of Tyree Heating and Air Conditioning and had previously worked at Volkswagen. He attended Acme Open Bible Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Tyree; and sister, Marilyn Heath. Claude is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sherry Stoltz Tyree; son, Sean Tyree and his wife, Carla, of Conway, S.C.; daughter, Tammy Louise Tyree and her husband, Dan Brooks, of Phoenix, Ariz.; granddaughter, Danielle Tyree; his dog, Meka; two brothers, William Tyree and his wife, Joyce, of Manchester, Ohio, and Herbert Tyree and his wife, Marcella, of Amherst, Va.; three sister, Brenda Hicks, of Madera, Calif., Pauline Parker and her husband, James, and Louise West, all of Lakeland, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Russell Dunaway officiating. Interment with military rites accorded be Jeannette Combined Veterans will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
