My GGG Grandparents were Joseph and Eliz Uhl, do not know Eliz maiden name. They arrived from Germany 6/3/1851 on the Dover from Havre France with children Christian, Charles and Joseph. They settled in Southport, Chemung Co. NY. They also had five more sons, Fritz, John, Henry, Peter and William. I am decendant of John Uhl and Emma Rosar Uhl. Is this who you are looking for? Are you related?
