Denise L. Ainsco Ukasik, 50 of Erie died Saturday September 27, 2008 at her home. She was born August 3, 1958 in McKeesport, Pa. a daughter of Ruth A. King Ainsco of McKeesport and the late Charles W. Ainsco Sr.
Denise was raised
and educated in the McKeesport area,
graduating from the McKeesport High School in 1976. She later moved to the Erie area in 1990
and went to work at Pleasant Ridge Manor. She had been employed there since and working as a Nurses Aid. She was a member of St. Julias Catholic Church in Erie, enjoyed reading, traveling throughout the United States, including Florida and a trip to the Worlds Fair in New Orleans. In addition to her father
she was preceded in death by her
father in law Carl W. Ukasik Sr.
and a nephew Robert L. Yorchuck.
She will be sadly missed by her family which includes her husband, Carl W. Ukasik,
whom she married March 16, 1985 in McKeesport;
her mother Ruth A. King Ainsco of McKeesport;
a son Dylan R. Ukasik of Erie;
two sisters, Karen A. Yurchuck
and Chrisann Scanlon and Robert all of McKeesport;
a brother Charles W. Ainsco and his wife Jean of Cambridge,Ohio,
also several nieces, nephews
and cousins. Friends
may call on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m and 7-9 p.m.
at Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard. Further calling hours and services will be held in McKeesport at Willig Funeral Home
and will be announced in the Tuesday edition of the
Erie Times News.
Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg, Pa. Memorials may be made to
