On Wednesday evening, September 7th, 1881, at the residence of the bride’s parents, in Hutchinson, by Rev. S. W. Richards, Mr. r. H. Updegraff, of this city, and Miss Libbie Edgworth, of Hutchinson.
The ceremony was witnessed by a few of the friends of the parties and those who attended report the affair one of the pleasantest ever witnessed. A sumptuous supper was among the amusements indulged in.
Mr. and Mrs. Updegraff started, Thursday morning, on a tour to Pennsylvania, and will be absent about six weeks, when they will return to this city, which will be their future home. They have the best wishes of the ARGOSY for success and happiness through life.
