I am looking for information about Nathan Urdong, survivor of the Knickerbocker Theater Disaster, January 28, 1922, Washington, DC. According to newspaper accounts, he was 40 years old in 1922, and he attended the theater that night with his brother, Jack Urdong, and sister-in-law, Rose Urdong. Jack and Rose Urdong were killed in the disaster.

I am writing a book about the Knickerbocker Theater Disaster and would like to include photos, stories of survivors and family accounts of the disaster. If anyone knows of Nathan Urdong, or his family, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Many thanks.

While researching the 1922 Knickerbocker Theater Disaster, I located death certificates for Jacob & Rose Urdong, victims of the disaster.

Jacob Urdong was 54 years old, a merchant and living at 2312 20th Street, NW, Washington, DC, at the time of his death. His body was interred in Washington Hebrew Cemetery.

Rose Urdong was 42 years old, a housewife, and living at 2312 20th Street, NW, Washington, DC, at the time of her death. Her body was interred in the Washington Hebrew Cemetery.
