My name is brian wren. My grandfather told me that when his parents came to America that they changed the spelling of their last name from Uren to Wren because of people pronouncing it "urine". Has anyone else heard of this? He always said we still had family in Cornwall. My grandparents were James and Sarah Wren. I'm sorry I can not remember his parents names. Since they are the ones who immagrated none of this may be of any help. I'm just curious. Thanks
