Hello Cesar

I am Raymond Clyde Uriarte Abringe from Negros Oriental, Philippines. Michelle who also is on the thread is my cousin living in California. My Mother and her Father are siblings. Our grandfather, Alberto Bilbao Uriarte, was from Nueva Vizcaya, Spain. He came to the Philippines on the early 1930s. He has eight (8) children. We are also looking for more information about our grandfather's family in Spain. We know he have brothers and sisters but we have no information about them. I you may hear something from the Uriarte's in Vizcaya, let me know.

i just read your message today. i have an uncle named Alberto Uriarte Jr. from Negros Occ. He is now residing in Manila. He has a brother named Rogelio Uriarte, who is residing in Bacolod City. My mother's name is Claudia Uriarte-Abringe. I live in Dumaguete City. I am 32 years old. Hope to hear from you as well. thank you.

Alberto Uriarte is my dad and his brother Rogelio "Roger" Uriarte is my uncle. I believe your mom is my dad half-sister. Does she have a brother named Felipe Uriarte? I was in Bais when I was 14 years old and I believe I met some of my dad's half-brothers and sisters. I am 41 years old and is now based in San Francisco, CA. My dad's still in Manila and Tito Roger in Bacolod.

Hi! I read your message and would like to inform you that we have the same grand father. Where are you from? My dad, Alberto Uriarte, is from Negros Occ. I met his third wife Teresa Uriarte when I was young. When my granpa died she went back to Spain. We recieve several mails from her until the mid 1980s after which we never heard from her anymore. Are you related to her? I know my dad has a lot of half-brothers and sisters.

Thanks for your reply Joella. That your Isabel Uriarte might be a sister to my Juana sounds like a possibility. Do you have any dates for Isabel? Approximate birth date or marriage date? What else might you have about your Uriartes?

In my family line from Sinaloa I have a Uriate. Thomas Uriate Salazar. He was a blue eyed light skinned man. His mother was Isabel Uriate and she married Jose Maria Salazar. The Uriate might come from sisters...

Me llamo Trifón Marín, y me ha llamado la atención su búsqueda porque su pariente se llamaba igual que yo y en España ese nombre no es muy corriente y siempre he estado interesado en conocer a gente que se llamara como yo en este país.

Yo soy nacido en la provincia de Burgos, muy cerca de Alava de donde parece que provienen ustedes pero nunca he oído que nadie me comentara que conocía a ningún Trifón por esa zona de España.

Si puedieran facilitarme algún dato más como la fecha de nacimiento o el pueblo donde nació a lo mejor puedo intentar ponerme en contacto con sus parientes haciendo aquí algunas gestiones.

Adolfo Lopez Mateos was my second cousin. I know this because my Mother told me this many years ago. But I have no idea who his parents were. Or how he was related to my Grandmother. Any help would be welcomed and appreciated. Her name was was Mary Maria Lopez and lived in Baja California and married Henry Pierce (Pearce) Thank you.

My great-grandmother, Juana Uriarte married my great-grandfather, Julian Dumas about 1875 in or around Guaymas Sonora. They had three sons: Julian,Maximino and Cruz Dumas. I am trying to find record of birth, marriage for Juana or any other evidence that might be found. She is said to have married Julian when she was 16 or 17 much to the discontent of her parents. Julian was much older than Juana, maybe 50. They settled in Guaymas and Juana ran a dairy and bakery after Julian died at the hands of the Yaqui indians. Julian came to Mexico from France as a soldier during the french occupation of Mexico and reign of Emperor Maximilliano in the middle 1860s.
