Looking for information about the family of William A. Urich, Jr.
If my birth/death information is correct, William A. Jr. was born 28 April 1923 (Michigan) and died 09 July 1986 (Ann Arbor, Michigan). His parents would be William A. Urich (b. April 1870 or 1871 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania) and Mayme L. Hicks (b. August 1876 in Michigan--her parents, William and Mary--suspect that's Mayme too--Hicks were Canadian). Even if my birth information is not totally correct, William A. Jr. was born either 1923 or 1924 in Michigan and his parents are who I said they are.
Parents of William A. Sr. (b. 1870) were John H. Urich (b. 26 Mar 1839 -- d. 1926) and Eliza Atkins (b. 3 Mar 1841 -- d. 13 Nov. 1931). I've seen some family trees incorrectly attaching John H. to Valentine Urich of Lebanon, which would lead to his grandfather being Valentine Urich who I think was a Revolutionary War soldier). However, information at the Lebanon County Historical Society and my family's bible records show John H. Urich as being the son of George Urich (Uhrich) (b. 7 Mar 1812) and Susanna Shindle (or sometimes Shindel or Shindell)(b. 19 July 1817).
I have George U(h)rich as being the son of Jacob U(h)rich and Hannah Goldman. Tombstone shows Jacob and Hannah, (son) George and Susannah, and Phillip and Elizabeth (Goldman) Urich on same plot as John H. Urich's brother, Samuel Shindel Urich. There are two additional Urichs on the stone too. I'm fairly certain that the above information is correct as I have family records and other information that corroborates my research into this line. Thus, I believe that the public tree's connecting John H. and Eliza Atkins Urich with Valentine Urich is almost certainly incorrect unless there were two John H. Urichs born on the same date in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania who later both married an Eliza Atkins. That just seems like too much of a coincidence to me although it ostensibly could happen.
If anyone has information on William A. Jr, his parents, or the parents of Jacob Urich (m. Hannah Goldman), I would greatly appreciate it!
