(Note to me) 15 Nov 2001-- Original Message -----German researcher identified the father and grandfather of Johann Valentin Jutzi, his first wife, their children, and his emigration from Germany. Ernie -
Q: Did the Hermann Baier research in the archives of the Archbishop in Freiberg/Breisgau indicated anything about the departure of the Utsey family for South Carolina (or PA)?
A: Yes, It identified Val Jutz, a wife and 5 children as emigrating in the year 1737. Followup message concerning the emigration protocol stated that Valintin Jutzi emigrated with his wife and 2 boys and 3 girls. Without reference to a source document, identifies the emigrating children as: Ann Margaretha, Mary/Maria, Conrad, Johann Georg, and Anna Catherina. Ernie29Nov2001. [plus Margaretha (Margaret m. Adam Snell) 2 parents = 100 acres; two boys = 100 acres; 4 girls = 200 acres; total 400 acres]

Anna Catherina born 1736 was probably the daughter of Maria Elizabeth Gotz and named after her grandmother, Anna Catherinian Riebel; therefore, Maria must have died after Anna Catherina was born.
