Frank George Utting

I am searching for the family of Frank George Utting born between 1903 and 1906. His father's name was George who was a detective with the London Passenger Transport Board. Frank was a widower when he married my mother in 1942.

It was awhile ago that i looked them up and I didn't make copies. Have you checked the Argus online site? from memory when you search the index for the relevent names it gives you a 'number' to use when you look up the articles. I spent a few hours in the dark at the at the State library of Victoria newspaper section looking at various micofilms. It will take quite a while but it made me realise how much more information we can get if we use newspaper indexes.

Hello,
You've probably seen this, but I've just spotted on the Argus index online an interesting series of srticles referrred to in the argus about the assault (rape) of harriet by frank Spearin. Then there is an assault by adelia in one of the Spearins and allegations of Purjery. I'd check theses articles.

I am the great grandson of Annie Utting ,My Granny was her daughter Phoebe Ellen(Nellie) Annie married George James Utting in the parish church Aldershot on November 16th 18887.
I believe George may have come from East Anglia ,Norfolk ,Suffolk .My father who died earlier this year never knew his grandfather, but seemed to think that he had left his wife and children and returned to East Anglia. I am trying to find more out about him.

This is a small site. I thought I would add to it that there are 2 Utting's that were in Denver. Burial was arrainged by Horan Funeral home. The mans name was Edward about 55 yrs old.

Does anyone have any info on Annie Utting, born 1865 in Bishop Cleeve, Gloucestershire. She had 4 children George, Nellie, Ethel and Dorothy and in 1901 lived in Farnham Surrey. I am interested in who she married.
