My father, Henry O. Valdes was born in Cuba in the 1930's, and emigrated to NY when he was 12. He married my mother, Virginia Ann Nolan, and I was born in 1961. I am his son, Henry M. Valdes.

My father worked as a Security Guard at the United Nations during the Cuban Missle Crisis, and I have photos of him guarding the Russian Representative, as well as other notables.

Does anyone know my father?
