I have an 8x10 portrait of a Geary Van Artsdalen that I would be willing to share with descendants or VanArtsdalen researchers. I am not a descendant but would like to have his info for my files. Geary appears to have been married to my grandmother at one time and I would like to share her old photos.

Between the 1930 and 1940's timeframe, he was said to be married to Malinda b/1910 Texas. Malinda sent postcards to her sons signed Mrs. Geary Van Artsdalen but I can't read the dates.

I have a couple pictures of Mr. Van Artsdalen, the portrait and a picture of him in Mexico on a dock looking at pottery, Malinda appears in that picture. I believe he was in a business that caused him to travel, some kind of import maybe, but that's just speculation, maybe he worked in the shipping business.

I'm sure he lived in California at one time and his mother may have lived with him. I have a feeling Mother and Malinda did not get along.

If anyone can identify this man for me I would really appreciate it.
