I am a direct descendent of Isaac Van Sickle (Vansickle), 1752-1830. I seek early documentation of family and individual connections. The earliest I have is the 1861 Canadian census, the record for his son, Abram [Abraham] Isaac van Sickle.

My family line is: Isaac van Sickle - Abram [Abraham] Isaac van Sickle - Nathaniel Reid [Reed] van Sickle - Benjamin Franklin van Sickle - Rhoda G VanSickle m. George Gordon Callon - Ross William Callon Sr - Gordon James Callon (me). Apparently this makes Isaac van Sickle my 4th great grandfather.

Most members of that line of the family are buried in the White Brick Cemetery, Ancaster. A few more recent members are buried in the Bethesda United Church Cemetery, Ancaster.
