DROPS DEAD IN HIS CHAIR BY FIRESIDE
MARTIN VANSICKLE, AGED 68, DIES SUDDENLY AT HIS HOME IN JACKSON TP.
Martin Vansickle, aged 68 years who lived on a small farm in Jackson township died Saturday evening at 3 o'clock after an illness of one day. Neuralgia of the heart was the cause of death.
Had Heart Trouble
Mr. Vansickle worked all day Friday in the field husking corn and when he returned home in the evening complained of a pain over his heart. A physician was called and gave temporary relief. Saturday he seemed as well as usual and spent the day in front of his fireside. In the evening he passed away as he sat in a chair surrounded by his wife and family of eight children.
Leaves Big Family
The deceased was born and reared in Coshocton county. He lived quietly and unpretentiously and was highly respected by all who knew him. The children surviving are Misses Ada, Nellie, Emma, Malinda, Helen and John, Alfred and Charles Vansickle.
Funeral services will be held at the Blooming Grove church although the date had not been decided upon last night.
