Looking for living relatives of Florence VanArnum Evans, married Alphonzo Evans of Angola, New York. Had lots of children - one a Grace Evans who married Robert Burns. Florence sent my grandmother a letter in 1924 which I have scanned. Thank you!

Florence was Sumner and Alice VanArnum's sister.

Looking for a connection to a Sumner Vanarnum (various spellngs), whose sister was Alice Vanarnum West who died in 1881 by being hit by a train. Alice married Solon Barnes West of Portland, Chautauqua, New York.

Update: Not Mary Russell but Mary Hill, as per their daughter's death record. The marriage record would be in New York, Vermont, or CT.

I am looking for a marriage record for George F Van Ornum/Vanarnum to Mary Russell and documentation for kinship of Martia to George and Mary.

This is the info I have:
George Fredric Vanornam (Isaac1 Van Ornum) was born 1781 in Quebec, Canada. He married Mary Russell. She was born 1780 in CT.

Children of George Vanornam and Mary Russell are:
+Theodore Vanornam, born 1807 in VT; died 21 Jan 1891 in Buffalo, Dallas Co., MO.
and my great grandmother,
+Marjory/Martia/Marcia Vanornam, born Apr 1814 in NY (1850 Census); VT (all subsequent Censuses); died 05 Aug 1902 in Marion County, IN.

They all lived in Congress Twp., Richland County, Ohio during the 1830's.
