My name is Jean Burden and my father was Harry Van Burden.
Some time after 1926 my dad married a woman in California. He was in the Navy and was very young at the time. He was stationed in San Diego at the time. We know nothing more than that except his sister in law actually meant the lady on a visit out to their house in California. My aunt Esther could not remember her name and said she thought that there had been a child. But she thought the child had died. I never knew much about my dad. He never spoke much about his past. I only found my aunt Esther after working on my genealogy. I hope that your relative May is the lady I have been looking for. Please reply and let me know one way or another.
