According to the information I have on the Vancil's, there are four Isaac Vancil's that are decendents of Edmund Vancil. The first is the son of John Vancil and Mary Penrod and grandson of Edmund Vancil was born Nov. 26,1787 in Montgomery Co, Virginia and died in 1850 in Morgan, IL.. The second Isaac Vancil was born in 1800 in Muhlenberg, KY and is a son of Jonas Vancil and Mary Wolf. Jonas is a brother of the first Isaac Vancil. This Isaac is a brother to Josephus Vancil which is where I decended from. He is my great-great grandfather. The third was Isaac Maurice Vancil born Feb 16, 1877 in Du Quoin, IL. and died Nov. 24, 1956 in Royalton, Franklin Co., IL. He is buried in Camp Creek Cem., IL. He was the son of Tobias Vancil and Margaret Wilson, which was a son of Josephus Vancil. The fourth was Isaac Walter Vancil, born March 28, 1896 in Du Quoin, IL.. He was the son of Paul Vancil and Sarah Beard. His father was Tobias Vancil. I'm sorry but I don't know when he died or where he is buried. I have been to the Vancil Cemetary many times but I don't know if there is an Isaac. The next time I go I will check and let you know what I find out.
My sister Jane and I are the children of Milton Woodrow Vancil, son of William P. Vancil, Son of Elijah Vancil, son of Josephus Vancil, son of Jonas Vancil, son of John Vancil and finally, son of Edmund Vancil.
My records say the Edmund Vancil was born in Prussia about 1725 and died in Patrick Virginia in 1815. He married and had one son John Vancil.
This information comes from the Latter Day Saints (LDS) data.
Hope this helps.
