Looking for descendents of Samuel Evans

Hi,

I've been looking for some family members from Greystones Co. Wicklow who emigrated to the US/Canada in the early 1900 - they were 4 brothers - William, Samuel, Thomas and Edward. I have just received the death certs and obituaries on Edward and Thomas out of the blue from a very kind lady and Edward's obituary in 1956 mentioned his 3 brothers Samuel in Vancouver, Willaim in Clinton and Thomas in Ashcroft where Edward was.
The chances of there been 2 Samuels in Vancouver with 3 brothers of the same name is very slim so I prosume that your samuel and mine are the same person.
I would appricate any info on Samuel and his family as I am trying to piece together the Evans family tree but I have large holes in it. I would be more than happy to pass on the info that I have on Edward and Thomas to you.

Maxwell SMYTH died 24 Feb. 1968 in Shaughnessy Hospital and had only been in Vancouver 1 year. Residence 181 East 3rd Ave. Vancouver. He is buried in Victory Memorial Cemetery in Surrey. He was born in Winnipeg but after WWII he and his wife lived in Calgary AB. She arrived in Canada on the EMPIRE BRENT in 1946 and was met by family friend A. SNYDER. Does anyone have any information about these people? I am unable to locate Marion. Please contact me. Thank you.

William Robison Scott b 15 Dec 1881 Married Sarah Hall Murphy in Hawick, Scotland in 1907. Emigrated to Vancouver, BC about 1911. Started Lumberman Printing Company. Died 28 July 1967 in Lionsgate Hospital, Vancouver. Buried Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby. Lived in Esquilmalt Avenue, W Vancouver. Believe he had 2 children, at least 6 grandchildren and 2 G Grandchildren when he died. Think he had a neice Mrs R C Rush of Victoria. He was my grandmother’s brother and I am trying to trace his family. Can anyone help???

It is a E-Book on CD and it is about the voyage I actually havent taken the time to spend too much time on it as I am researching my family tree and George Vancouver is not a relation to me. My uncle was intrigues by george and decided to do the CD. Sorry it took so long to reply, I havent checked in on this thread fror quite sometime.

Family of Louis Avory WHITE

I am searching for Louis Avory WHITE's family - his wife was Eileen nee Holland.

As far as I know they had a son and daughter.

Louis Avory was born in Kengsington, London, England on 18th August 1884. His father was Louis Stephen WHITE and mother was Caroline nee AVORY.

From his death certificate he had lived at 1851 Haro Street, Vancouver and was a Certified Accountant.
He had been in Canada for 35 years.

I am his half grand niece.
Look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me.

I am looking for any info on Lillian Markham who married George Clapshew and settled in Vancouver after the first world war.They had 2 daughters Joan and Marion. Lillians father and mother Frank and Esther Markham followed her to Canada about 1929 from England and they both died in Canada. I also think Lillians sister Constance Markham moved to Canada as well. Any info very welcome. Thanks.

My Uncle sam came from Wicklow Ireland with his brothers Ted--Bill and Thomas. He had several children, and one was was named Worden, seeking any descendents of Samuel.

Trying to help a friend I am looking for a person called Odd Gunnar Witzøe Kvam (Odd Kvam), born 25. Jan. 1926, Trondheim, Norway. Married to Solveig. They have a daughter called May Lisbeth and a son Terje. (born in the end of 1940-ties, beginning of 1950-ties).

I am told that they moved to Vancouver, Canada, about 1960.

I interested in any information that can lead to any of these persons.

3. Stanley Blanchard m. 1924/8/18 to Dolores Marguerite Neveux in Vancouver

4. Connie Blanchard m.1920/10/27 to Charles Fieldhouse in Vancouver

This family emigrated in 1904 to Saskatoon from England. I would appreciate a photo of grave sites or any related info!

I am attempting to locate Neil MacGhee,an old room-mate, when we were both employed at the Jasper Park Lodge in 1951. When last heard from in the mid-1950's, he was employed as a night auditor at the Georgia Hotel in Vancouver. Can anyone provide me with up-dated information regarding the whereabouts of Neil ?

He was the s/o of Romuald Materi and Ottilia Unser. they both died in Kelowna also.

Seeking descendents of Herbert Green and Florence Bignell. They came to Vancouver from England and married there in l9lO. Were keen members of Anglican Church of St. Helens and were involved in the building of the Church and its future.Had three sons incl Roger Bignell Green born in Vancouver about l922.
Florence Bignell was d.o. Jesse Bignell and was born in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Am searching for descendents of Royal (Roy) William St. John(d. Dec. 11, 1989-buried OceanView), his daughter Lesley m. Jim Edgar. Children of Lesley are Laura and Gary EDGAR.
Have tried phone listings without success, but am calling long distance, so maybe missing some listings.
Have had someone go out to cemetery, and she advises it looks like someone putting flowers on grave. Cannot get any info out of cemetery personnel. Person not able to get back to Burnaby very often, so cannot follow up on flowers.
