I'm looking for information on my g-g-g-g-grandfather, Rev. Elias Vandemark.
He was born in Pennsylvania around 1806. On the 1850 census, he is listed as a clergyman in Walnut, Pickaway Co., Ohio, along with his wife Margaret, and children Cymantha (Semantha, Samantha, c 1829), James K.(c. 1833), John R. (c. 1835), Susanna M. (c. 1837), Sarah L. (c. 1842), Ann E. (c. 1844), Martha M. (c. 1847), Mary (c. 1849), and his son-in-law James F. Shaw (c. 1823), husband of Cymantha.
