I have just married into the vandercook family. My husband also recently started in the Michigan State Police, of which Roy was the head of when it was created. I am trying to find his relation to Roy, as his family says there is but cannont realy track it. I can get as far as Roy's son Cornelius B. Vandercook, but cannont find where it went from there. Please if you know, help! The state police captains love to show my husband off and he hates saying he is related without knowing How he actually is related. Thank you!
