John Vandike is my husbands 5th great grandfather. John,James, Joseph, Walter, Joseph, then My husbands grandmother Rosa then my husbands father Franklin Delnor "Roosevelt" Vandyke, then my husband Daniel Roosevelt VanDyke.

I am also looking for John Vandike. he would also be my ggggg-grandfather. I have a listing for his son James Vandike as Joseph Vandyke's dad. If this fits yours, i would like to share any information i have.

I'm searching for the origins of my ggggg-grandfather John VANDIKE of Tazewell Co., VA. He settled in what is now Tazewell Co. about 1775. He was married to Charlotte UNKNOWN. They had eight children: James, Charles, John, Charlotte, Nancy, Sally, Elizabeth(?), and Israel. He died between 1820 and 1830 in Tazewell Co. Any leads appreciated.
