There is a Daniel Vanhousen in my lineage. He was born in Lexington, Green, NY 29 Jul 1814. Married Mary Sluser in 1851 in Prattsville. I can account for only one son, Millard Fillmore Vanhousen (my gGrandfather), b. 12 Oct 1856. Is it possible that your Daniel is another son of Daniel and Mary?

Researching Ansel (Jay?) VanHousen, born in Illinois 1892-1893. Son of Clyde. I believe he was a friend of my grandfather, Thomas H Porter, in the late teens, early 1920's. I have some pictures I'd like to share.
