Estil R. Vanlandingham
Estil R. Vanlandingham, 75, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Thursday, October 13, 2005, at his residence.
Estil was born March 10, 1930, to the late Don and Gracie (Vaught) Vanlandingham. He worked at Servel, Whirlpool and most recently at Wright Motors.Estil was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War where he received the Purple Heart. He enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.
He is survived by daughters,Sharon Dean and her husband, Thomas, of Evansville, Ind., Deveta Miller of Evansville, Ind., Lisa Russell and her husband, Alan, Evansville, Ind.; sisters, Carrie Lee Wint, Nellie May Hawes, Maetta Vanlandingham; brother, Carlis Vanlandingham; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Daniel Dean, Lindsey and Doug Miller, Kim and Travis Russell; great-grandchildren, Garrett Dean.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clyde Vanlandingham; and a sister, Edana Perry.
Funeral services are planned for 9 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2005, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., with Rev. Dennis Davenport officiating.Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2005, at Browning Funeral Home.
