I have a great grandfather, Charles Vanetta born July 1860 in PA. Garden township Cherokee Ks (1900 census) Mother and father were from Germany. Charles was a lead miner, and married to Melinda (?). Melinda was born March 1860, in Missouri and her mother was from ILL and her dad from Tenn.
Charles and Melinda had 6 children, May,Laura, LuLu, Amy, and Leroy.
