researching my roots on fathers side

I am looking for anyone who's last name is spelled VanNice. My father is deceased and basically there is nobody left to give me some insight on where the name VanNice came from. My grandparents used to send me letters and on the back of them was the families' Coat of Arms'. Anyone with any info can email me anytime.
