Surnames: Krossa, Stahnke
Shirley; I can't help you much. Two other VanVrankin's have sent me data that Maud died and is buried in Enid, Oklahoma.
My mother was Sadie Krossa Bridges, William Krossa was her oldest brother. He made genealogy "interresting" by being married twice, both wives named Maude. Unclee Will and my father couldn't be in a room together with out a big argument ensuing, therefore wwe saw little of Uncle Will, his wives or his son Bill.
I recenttly found a birth record for another son, John Krosssa, he was born the year before Bill. No further records, none of our family remember a child dying, nor do they know of John. I remember seeing Maud, with Bill and Uncle Will at the funeral of my grandfather, John Krossa (1859-1956) Grandpa died four days before I graduated from College. Most of the family was at the funeral in Bakersfield. Somewhere, I might have a photo of Aunt Maud that was taken then.
