MRS. CATHERINE A. VAUBEL

Mrs. Catherine A. Vaubel, 75, of Washington, Illinois, died Saturday (January 25) at her home. She had been ill several months. Funeral services were held at the Evangelical United Brethern Church, Washington, on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Burial was in Glen Dale Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 25, 1888, in Germanville, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Ruppel Glabe. She married the Rev. Edward G. Vaubel Dec. 16, 1908, in Chatsworth.
Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Valera V. Corbin, Washington; two sons, Emerson E., Bridggeville, Pa.; and Paul D., Los Angeles; one sister, Mrs. Fred Warner, St. Petersburg, Fla., two brothers, Fred Glabe, Oakland, California, and Harvey Glabe, of Los Alamintos, Calif; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of the Zion Evangelical United Brethern Church and had lived in Washington 15 years.
