I am looking for information on my Great-grandfather Louis Lefebvre and his wife Celanie Roussin. This couple was married in Ste. Marthe, Vaudreuil County on September 26, 1853. I believe that hey made their home in Glen Nevis, Ontario very near Ste. Justine de Newton, Quebec. My Great-grandfather Louis Lefebvre had 3 brothers who were also married in Ste. Marthe, Vaudreuil County, Quebec. They were; Regis Lefebvre and Marguerite Chartrand on January 19, 1852; Moise Lefebvre and Catherine Hughes on January 20, 1857; Jean Baptiste Lefebvre and Elmire Viau on February 23, 1857. My Great-grandfather and his brothers were all children of Julien Lefebvre and Marguerite LaCelle from St. Benoit des Deux Montagnes, Quebec. My Great-grandfather I believe had older brothers and sisters who remained in the St. Benoit area with their families. I am not sure but I think that Julien and his wife Marguerite LaCelle left St. Benoit and crossed the river to Ste. Marthe area sometime in the late 1830's or so. Julien Lefebvre's parents were Antoine Lefebvre and Suzanne Ranger. Marguerite's parents were Louis LaCelle and Marie Marguerite LaBerge. Any information would be greatly appreciated, our line of Lefebvre is de LaCisseraye.
