Surnames: VAUGHN, SMITH, VESELY
Ray Vaughn was born Boyce V. Smith, 1920 NY. Parents Charles Wesley Smith & Adeline [Vesely] Smith. 1/2 sister Helen, who married Merle Bevington.
Ray married Nieves Castillo (from Cuba) in FL, & they had 2 sons Charles Orlando Smith & Jorge (George) Francis Smith. Since the marriage lasted only 6 yrs., I don't know what happened to his former wife & sons.
Ray was an entertainer on the Don McNeil show & later an evangelist preacher in Decatur, GA, where he died in 1977.
I have info on Ray Vaughn/Boyce V. Smith, but I do not know if his sons later took the name of Vaughn or where they lived.
I would like to locate either Charles Orlando Smith or George Francis Smith for further family information, since they would be distant cousins of mine thru the Vesely/Smith line. Thank you in advance for any help locating them.
