Possibly--my dad was born in Guayama to Luisa Vega, but she died when he was just a boy and that is where my search ends on that side of the family. Would have been in the mid-1940s when she was still alive.

I am working on my husband's ancestry and his mother Delilah Gallegos mother is named Concepcion Rodriguez born 1919 and her mothers name is Rosalee or Rosa Vega. Her fathers name is Donchiano Vega and her brothers name is Cirilo. Donchiano was listed as widowed in 1921 on his arrival in the US and Concepcion as 2 yrs old.

The only sons i knew from my grandfather feliciano vega were refugio (cuco) and ignacio (nacho) which he brought with him to a small town south west of piedras negras coahuila. he might have left more son or daughters behind in villa de arteaga, saltillo or any were in that area where then comes along monterrey durango or zactecas. Laureano Vega Sanches was born 1843 in Spain, however, I do not know where in spain. I've been informed that many spanard migrated from Galicia to Puerto Rico through the Canary Island.

It might be possible that Laureano Vega Sanches is the son of Rogelio Vega and Ysabel Sanchez. If so, Do you have any information about Rogelio and Ysabel?

I have been having trouble finding information about Laureano, because Ancestry.com does not have a lot of information about Spain. This may be the break I've been looking for.

I don't have any William Vega in my familiy tree, but do you have any time line, DOB would be good. Do you have your grandfather's or great grandfather's name, that might help. So far, I have found a group of second cousins, and I have been able to go back to 1850 on the Vega name. You might be a 2nd or 3rd cousin.

I just came across the site looking for "Vega" that originated in Kalibo, Aklan. My moms mother last name was Vega and she came from Kalibo, Aklan which is my grandmother her name was Victorina Vega and she married a man named Jaun Peralta which they had several kids and my mom was the youngest her name was Encarnacion V. Peralta from Kalibo, Aklan. Born 1918. I even have a picture of my grandmother taken sometime in late 1800's maybe taken in 1898??? I didn't know my grandmother at all she died during WWII when my mom was in here early 20's. One of my grandmothers kids was a Mayor of Kalibo circa 1930's his name was Salvador V. Peralta.
