Here is info of my Vella family, documented by copies of original records found on FHL microfilms.
GG grandmother Angela Vella, b. 29 Apr 1797, Calatabiano, Catania, Italy, d. 1 Jan 1865 Calatabiano, m. Calatabiano, 4 Nov 1825 Giovanni Cambaroto. She daughter of Andrea, b. 19 Nov 1760 Calatabiano, d. there, 23 Oct 1832, m. Agata Saja, date and place unknown (she is named on childrens' baptism, marriage and death records). Andrea is son of Francesco, b. about 1717 (date is based on age at death; I cannot locate his birth in Calatabiano church records early 1700s), d. 15 Nov 1767 Calatabiano, m. Giuseppa Dominici before 1753 (1st child b. 1753). Can anyone help me on this family?
