I am helping my uncle research his family tree. His grandmother was Rose de Lima Venne, (1861-1914). She was born in Canada, a daughter of Euclide Venne & Sophia Bastien. The family moved to Fond du Lac, WI before 1880, where Rose married Ovide Senecal (who hailed from Montreal and also moved to Fond du Lac as a boy). I believe Euclide's father was a Francis Venne (who also died in Fond du Lac).
