I have a memorial card from my g grandmother's funeral. The card lists her name as Maria Grazia Miritello. I was told her maiden name was Verdi, maybe it was Verzi. She was married to Mariano Leone, my g grandather. I do not know when she maried Mr. Miritello. She died 15 NOV 1948. Any ifno on Maria's family would be appreciated!

I am helping my nephew Jamie find his father, we know his name, David Verdi, and that in the late 80's worked for bognor regis, devon. where he met a Beverley Nicholls. Unbeknown to David Beverley had a son in march 15 1991.
Jamie has turned 17 and has only recently found out his dad never knew about him. If anyone can help , this young man hasn't had the perfect childhood, in fact it was his aunt who brought him up. I am a Verdi from Rionero! My great grandfather's name is Nicholas Joseph born aound 1890. He and his wife Phillamina (or Philemina) immigrated here around 1910-1915. My grandfather's name is Joseph Andrew. From what he has told me, Rionero is a very small town.....

my Aunt's (already posted)were Santa Lorenza Verdi b.1896 and Vera Verdi b.1907. I have now discovered my father had more brother's and sisters, Moreau Robert VERDI b.1898, Marie Verdi c.1900, (my Father Frank Alexander VERDI b.1902) and Jean Jessie VERDI b.1909. No records of the eldest are in the 1901 census. All were born in the Islington or Fulham areas of London where their father William VERDI was a Vocalist, Opera singer and actor. I would be interested in any info or help in finding info on these people. Amanda

Hi I am trying to make a connection with Francis Verdiguel. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1889. I believe his family went there from Italy, but have absolutely no proof, only heresay. Thanks in advance for any consideration.

My great grandfather, Donato Verdi, came from Rionero Italy to Buffalo NY in 1912. His brothers were: Frank (also came to Buffalo), Michael (who went to Rochester) and Joseph (who stayed in Italy) Anyone out there who is a descendent of these Verdi's? Yes, there was a David Verdi in New Castle. David was a postal carrier the last I knew (about 10 years ago). His father also was named David Verdi and was also a postal carrier. They lived on Marshall Ave.
I was looking for Frank DeAugustine (who was my nieghbor and best friend - on Winslow Ave.) when I found this thread. we all knew each other as children and were friends.

Romero Verdi is supposed to be related to my ggmother Doquitzia Mateo Tulio. Her first husband was Peter Tulio. They arrived in the US circa 1914. She remarried to one Ernest Verille and died in Pennslvania in the early 1930s leaving three daughters and two sons. No other information is known.
