My great grandparents came to the United States prior to 1885 from Ceciel, Belgium. I can not even locate a correct spelling for their last name, as somewhere along the line it may have been changed to Verne. My grandfather Ernest Arthur was born in Pennsylvania in February 1885. My great grandparents returned to Belgium before World War 1. They had two or three daughters that came to the United States with them and they stayed here. I believe one of their names was Gustine or Agustine, another may have been Margaret. My grandfather Ernest married Ella Martha Helmer. My grandmother died in 1921 and my grandfather Ernest married a woman named Jesse, she had five children. Ernest A. Verschuerer is listed on the Ohio 1910 Census, with the right wifw and children. Then he vanishes. My grandmother Ella, his first wife is buried by the name of Ella M. Verschurren, in Painesville, Cayahoga Ccounty, Ohio. My grandfather had two sons, Ernest died 1903/1905 and Arthur was adopted away from the family in late 1921 or early 1922, adopted name unknown. Ernest and Ella had five daughters, Ella Rosalie(my mother), Ruth Naomi, May Omozene, Mirium (died as an infant)and Frances Lenora. I need to find out how to corectly spell my family name and I would appreciate any and all information that any one might have as to who I am. God Bless and Thank You. Betty
