I am looking for any ancestors who are familar with the Lewis family from Naple Texas. My mother was Clotile Lewis who married Walter Blanks. Clotile's mother was Emma Nickleberry and her father was Veatrice Lewis. Clotile was born April 17, 1916 or 1917 in Naples Texas, I believe that is Cass county. I am the daughter of Clotile and Walter. I never knew my father. All I know is that he was in the U.S. Army. I was born in 1954 in Buffalo, New York. My mother's sibilings were Octavia Harris, Vernon Dean South, Swyntha Gibson, Veatrice Lewis, Jr. Elzie Lewis. Veatrice, Jr. had a twin named McClea. There are other siblings named Amy and she had a brother they are Veatrice Lewis, Sr. last set of children I believe they are still in Texas. Clotile was raised by her grandmother. I believed they called her Grandma Laurel. My mother had a cousin named Lonnie. She would take us to Texas on the train when we were younger children.
