Hi! I am a Verville from the province of Québec. Do you that you are either a Bourbeau or a Couturier. My name is Verville but my ancester in Canada is Gilles Couturier dit Labonté from Toussaint parish in the city of Rennes in France. Gilles died in Saint-François-du-Lac on the border of the Saint-Lawrence river on the 26 of March 1726 at the age of 86. Are you a Bourbeau or a Couturier. May you know all that...but just in case you don't.
René
Victoriaville, Qué.

hi! You are a Couturier then! It would be interesting to know where we meet in the tree. You must be a descendant of Pierre and François because François is the first Couturier to be called Verville. The next ones in my tree are Antoine and Theophile and Joseph and Majorique. Have you got the same people in your own tree. I would like to know! Parlez-vous Français?
René Verville

Hello Fellow Verville's! Forgive me for being new to discover this part of my family, but now I'm on a deadline and need some help. I leave for Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Canada next Thursday (10/17) to meet family that I have seen since I was 18 months old or have never met. I have put together to date a collection of pictures and the pieces of ancestry that I know. However, I am missing a crest, motto & tartan if such exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from many.

June Verville

--> Anne Lauzière (née 30/12/1771)

Charles Larivière-Chapdelaine & Geneviève Joyal (16/08/1762 - St-François du Lac)

Marie Anne Couturier dite Verville & Charles Larivière-Chapdelaine (07/09/1778 - St-François du Lac)
--> Charles Larivière-Chapdelaine (28/07/1763)

Ensuite, les deux branches se rejoignent:

Charles Larivière-Chapdelaine & Anne Lauzière (20/02/1792 - St-François du Lac)
--> Philibert Chapdelaine (mon ancêtre).

Ouf!

Gilbert Benoît
Ottawa
