"Gail Hope Tucker Vesloski
Mrs. Vesloski, age 83, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, September 19, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2005 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fort Mill, with the Rev. Sally Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte.
Born June 19, 1922 in Charlotte, Mrs. Vesloski was a daughter of the late Murray Walter Tucker and Bertha Leone Foster Tucker. She was the widow of Walter Vesloski, Jr. and she lost her son Barry Vesloski in 1963.
Mrs. Vesloski was a 1940 graduate of Central High School. She was a former employee of Mercy Hospital and Celanese and retired from Piedmont Natural Gas. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW). She was a former member of Chapel of Hope and All Saints Episcopal Church in Charlotte. She enjoyed visiting friends who were in the nursing home and who were ill. Her church and family were her life. She was a Godly woman who was loved by all who knew her. She constantly gave of herself to everyone she met.
Surviving are two daughters, Cama V. Tadlock and her husband Wayne of Clover, and Kimberly V. Allman and her husband Scott of Rock Hill; two brothers, Bruce Tucker and his wife Mary of Greensboro, NC, and Larry Tucker and his wife Pat of Chattanooga, TN; her sister, Martha Smith and her husband Jim of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Jennifer T. Floyd and her husband Jason, Anna and Ryan Allman; two great-grandsons, Greyson and Carter Floyd; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2005 at st. Paul's Episcopal Church and other times at the home, 15200 Regena Lane, Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Music Fund, P.O. Box 753, Fort Mill, SC 29716.
Wolfe Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements."
