Further to my earlier reply, I have now found the baptism for "my" Sarah Victory and she was actually baptised Catherine Sarah Victory on 15th December 1893at St Lukes, Victoria Dock.
Therefore, I sounds like "your" Catherine Sarah is the same as mine and is one of 12 children of Thomas Victory and Mary Ann Nicholls.

I have a Sarah Maskell born 1893 in Customs House, West Ham - the daughter of a Thomas Victory and Mary Ann Nichols. The name Sarah is from the 1901 census so it might be your Catherine Sarah but with a shortened name. The 1901 census is the only record I have for her at the moment.
I also have another Catherine Sarah Victory born 1882 in Victoria Docks, West Ham - this one is the daughter of a George Victory and Catherine Sarah Aires (George's 2nd wife). This Catherine Sarah Victory married a Joseph Dainty in 1903.
I've done a lot of work on the surname Victory in West Ham as most that I've found are related to my Victory line
Let me know if this fits.

Jim Victory who first married Callie Crowell who lost
her mind somehow while giving birth to a son that was named John. He
also had a sister I believe. Jim remarried to a Mary Lou Ida Kelley from
Maury County. At the time either through poverty or meanness of his new
wife, he gave away the two children. John has descendents living in
Maury County and Hickman County. Jim and Ida had sons; Ellis,
Claggett,Burl, and George; and a daughter named Callie. Ellis was my grandfather.
All married and had kids, many still living today. My mother was Velma
Lou, and she married Charlie Lawson. If interested, please

Both are buried in Hulan Cemetery along with Archie's parents and brothers. It is up on a hill behind the new subdivision at 7480 Charlotte Pike. Go to the wooded area top right of Haley Hope Road. This is near the location their log cabin & springhouse were once located.

My Grandfather was William P. Hulan. I visited the site a year ago.

I would like to know who her parents and siblings were. I would love to have copies of any photographs from relatives of this family.

Betty Victory maiden name was Quinton. Her father was Joel. She married Henry. Eliza married a Lowery. They gave up Andrew for adoption and he was adopted by founder or co-founder of Lion Oil in arkansas. he took another name , I think.

I'm looking for information on Robert Victory. He was born in 1819 in TN and later moved to Arkansas with his wife, Me(a)linda Nichols (b. 1825 TN). As far as I can tell they only had one son, William, born 1839 in ARK. I can't find any information after the 1860 census (Griffin, Pope, AR)for either Robert or Melinda.

William Earl Victory was born to Claris and Inez Victory on April 24, 1927 in Depew, Oklahoma. He resided in California for over 60 years and was a long time resident of Wasco, CA before retiring to Camp Nelson, CA. He passed away October 20, 2006, in Bakersfield, California. William was a master oil field welder and owned Vic Weld. He worked many years in the oil fields of Kern County mostly in the Taft area. He was previously employed by Oilfield Construction Company. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Anthony and parents, Claris and Inez Victory. William was active in a number organizations: Masons, Shriners, Scottish Rite, Clampers and Elks. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Victory; son, Russel Earl Victory (Linda); daughters, Loretta Laughlin, Billie J. Billings (Jay) and Terri Randel; 7 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren; the mother of his children, Zora Urban; sisters, Faye Lack, Betty Davis and Clarabelle Colffelt. Per William's wishes there will be no services. You may join family and friends for a celebration of his life at the Eagles Lodge, 97 E. Henderson Ave., in Porterville, CA, Saturday, October 28, 2006, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to your favorite charity, the Shriner's Hospital or Camp Nelson Volunteer Fire Department.

Dave, I have very little on Margaret Victory. But I know she was first married to my GreatGrandfather, Calvin Victory. After he died, she married John Swartz and then later divorced him and married to someone else. As far as I can find, she was born ca 1858 and died somewhere between 1890-1894. Her parents were Henry and Mary Ann Scates.

I'm not seeing any common names to my tree, but my gr. grandmother was Tensy Victory who lived and died in Chautauqua Co. Ks, she was part Cherekee, had 9 brothers and sisters, Henry, Nancy, Samuel, Charlie, Andrew, Susie, Telee, Donna and Aleck, that were spread out between Oklahoma and Kansas. Their parents were John Victory and Betty (Elizabeth) J. Quinton. Tensy was born in the 1880's, do you show any ties to these names?

I am Santina Victory and my grandmother's name is Marie W. Victory. She was born in Charleston Missouri on 12/11/1928 and died in Charleston on 1/20/1997. She had nine children who all but a few live in Chicago Illinois. I believe my mother Rose's father's last name is Lovins, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm Abraham Lincoln Victory's Great Granddaughter. I live in California and have been doing some research on our ancestors. I do have a little info. Abraham and Zettie's father's name was William and William's father's name was Robin or Robert Victory. I know they were Cherokee, but I haven't been able to find them on the Dawes Roll as of yet.
