My ggrandfather was Joseph Brodie Villeneuve ca 2 Dec. 1897, supposedly the son of Joseph and Sarah Villeneuve. He married Lelia Annie Cannon, daughter of John Milton Cannon Jr and Martha Elizabeth Elsperman, date unk. of marriage. She died 23 February 1981. Joseph died on 11 June 1970, both are buried in Whitmire Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia, Florida. Their children were Herbert Harold (17 Jan. 1920), Mary Elizabeth Lorraine (7 Sept. 1921), Richard Kenneth (10 June 1927).

I doubt you should have much difficulty in finding the cemetery in the tiny town of Glen Nevis, Ontario. The town is not too far from Lancaster, which is east of Cornwall, which is very close to the St. Lawrence River. I don't know where you live but there is a border crossing into Canada from Rooseveltown, NY directly to Cornwall.

Louis Villeneuve married Clemence Devoyau 7/1/1864 in St. Raphael, Ontario and they had a son, Joseph Arthur who married Clementine Plourde 2/2/1890 in Gladstone, Ontario. The parents of Clementine Plourde were Joseph Plourde and Clementine Caron.
Louis Villeneuve married Catherine Lacelle 28/9/1869 in St. Polycarpe, Quebec. This was his second marriage and. according to my records they had 2 daughters, Virginie b. 1869 and Marie b. 10/1870 or 1871. Catherine may have been called Katie.

The historical society of Payette County, Idaho has recently uncovered a book called "Builders of Idaho" Cartoons by Nick Villeneuve and E. J. Evans. It was published by the Cartoon Book Publishing Company, H. I. Bowles and H. K. Silversmith. We can find not dates in the book. Basically it is cartoon character drawings of a few prominent people of Idaho. It is very well done and I am guessing it was done around 1900. Does anyone have information on the Nick Willeneuve who did the book?

I'm going crazy!!! I still can't find my ancestry. Thanks to Dave Smith, I learned my great-grandfather was Heliodore Villeneuve but he's nowhere to be found. I searched here (there were 3 Heliodores but all were too young to be the one) and at Debbie's website. No hits. Can anyone help?

Also have Gertrude brother Albert Auclair born on juily 26, 1916 and died on août 31, 1973 and married Adrienne M. Emilia\Villeneuve on mai 24, 1938 in Charlesbourg .She the sister of Isidore . Octave Gervais married Aurelie Cardinal in Ste. Philippe, Laprairie, Quebec on November 20, 1865. They had a son named Joseph Gervais who married Alice Saumure on January 1, 1890. They had a daughter named Valeda Gervais who married Oscar Villeneuve on November 25, 1918 at St. Joseph Parish in Orleans, part of the City of Ottawa. I am their granddaughter.

My Anna was married to Laurent Dagenais. They had a son named Xavier Dagenais. Xavier married Marie Anna Savage and they settled in Valleyfield, Quebec. They must have originally come from france. Let me know if you have anything simular.

To whom it may concern. i have been looking for my brother Louis Anthony Villeneve. He was last seen in 1970-1971. My little sister was just a baby when he disappeared. Sence then when have lost our father and second oldest brother Joesph John.. I would like to find him, not just for the rest of the family, but for my mother, whom is ill and i believe this will set a rest to the wondering and the pain she has had in her life.
