I'm looking for imfo on my Great grandmother. Her name was Sarah Vincen and she married Nathan Cagle in April 7, 1857 in Hickman, Fulton Co.,Kentucky. That is all I know about her.

Hi My childrens grandparents are Charles D and Frances Vincen...you are looking for their grandparents parents...the great great granddaughters are living in Boise, Idaho. The grandparents are still alive in Boise, just celebrating their 76th wedding aniversary. Hi --- I am working on my husbands geneology and Vincen is his family name. His grandmother is Sarah Sadie Richardson Vincen. We have quite a lot of info about her. She married Charles Vinson at Weiser, IDaho in 1906. Could this be your line?

My husband (Arnold Lewis Vincen Creighton) = his mother was Darleen Davis and his father was Arnold Henry Vincen.
I have little info about the Vinson's, except that Charles Henry Vincen's father was Halley Vincen from Sonora Mexico (?) and his mother was Margaret Hurt.

Sad news Sarah Sadie Vincen

Sorry to hear your bad news. My husband (Arnie) was looking over your info. He always knew Sadie Ethel by her middle name: they always called her just Ethel. Aunt Ellen is still alive and lives in Spokane, Wa. And Aunt June is alive and well in ORegon. Where are you?

Delbert (Uncle Deb) Vincen has a daughter who we have met and she is a wonderfully talented artist - in her 60's now. She travels the country among the gallerys that display her sculptures.

I have some family pictures of Ethel and Doris, if you are interested. Also I have a single of Doris who died when she was 23 in a car wreck. I have baby pictures of Ethel Stecker - who according to my records died in 1991. I have a wedding picture of Sarah Sadie and Charles Henry. They were married 21 Aug 1906. He died 8 Feb. 1936 in Boise Idaho.
I have Sarah Sadie's birthdate as 4 mar. 1886 and her death 11 jul 1948 in Medford OR.
You may already have this info. My info came from Aunt June Vincen Bronson in Florence OR> She is the keeper of the Vincen family info. All the best to you.

Yes, Grandma went by Ethel. Her nickname was Lou. Why, I don't know. Aunt Doris' nickname was Tony. I would love to see the pictures. I have a copy of the wedding picture, but nothing of my grandmother's childhood. Grandma and Aunt Eileen weren't speaking for years.
Everett and Grandma have some small framed prints of Deb's wifes work, and their daughters' My Aunt Dolores is keeping them.
I too live in Spokane. I grew up in Pend Oreille county, but have lived here for 23 years.

Well a spot of bad news. My grandfather, Everett Stecker passed away a few weeks ago. He was Sadie Ethel's husband. She died Dec. 26, 1990.

No, that's all I know. If you get on the LDS site, you can trace Arnie's mom's side clear back to the 1400's in England. Her name was Sadie Sarah Richardson. I met Arnie once, along with his sister Eileen and sister June at my Grandma's house. She was Sadie Ethel Vincen.
