Mary Carmen Viramontes Nov. 9, 1926 ~ Oct. 19, 2010 Resident of San Pablo Mary went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Kelly, New Mexico and at the age of 14 she entered the convent and was a Catholic nun for 14 years. In 1960 she married Augustine Vira-montes until his passing in 1985. She worked for the West Contra Costa County School District for many years. She is survived by her daughter Rosemary Vira-montes; son David Vira-montes; grandson Gabriel Viramontes; granddaughter Alexandra Viramontes; and 2 great-grandchildren Javier and Ariana. She is also survived by 2 sisters Tila Gutierrez and Betty Jones, both of New Mexico; and many other family and friends. Our beautiful special mommy loved life and loved to celebrate. We love and miss you mommy! Memorial Services celebrating her life at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at MacArthur Community Baptist Church, 2301 Rumrill Blvd., San Pablo.
