Parents migrated to Anahine, Calif. Jose Moreno and Maria Barrios Viramontez are my 91 yr. old parents. My fathers brother was Victor. Any Relations. Detroit, Michigan.They were also raised in El cargadero in Zacatecas. My tio Manule Viramontes and my father were in the US army at the same time. The sur names were changed to distinguish them. We had Viramontez, My tio had Viramontes. Wierd huh!

Mary Carmen Viramontes Nov. 9, 1926 ~ Oct. 19, 2010 Resident of San Pablo Mary went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Kelly, New Mexico and at the age of 14 she entered the convent and was a Catholic nun for 14 years. In 1960 she married Augustine Vira-montes until his passing in 1985. She worked for the West Contra Costa County School District for many years. She is survived by her daughter Rosemary Vira-montes; son David Vira-montes; grandson Gabriel Viramontes; granddaughter Alexandra Viramontes; and 2 great-grandchildren Javier and Ariana. She is also survived by 2 sisters Tila Gutierrez and Betty Jones, both of New Mexico; and many other family and friends. Our beautiful special mommy loved life and loved to celebrate. We love and miss you mommy! Memorial Services celebrating her life at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at MacArthur Community Baptist Church, 2301 Rumrill Blvd., San Pablo. Wilson & Kratzer - Mission Bells Chapel (510) 232-6552

Hi, My name is tony, I was named after my grandfather tony o. viramontes and wwII SOLDIER LIKE ME. The name viramontes
comes from spain, the origin started. They Migrated from spain to Mexico and then filtred out to new mexico,texas and califorina.It is a big Family. We have had a
county singer named Ronnie Viramontes in the 1980's and 90's. My great Grandfather Ramon Viramontes has a street named viramontes in borderland texas, where a few viramontes started. His wife name is Jovita Viramontes, my great grandma she passed in 1968. She held me when I was a baby, I was born 63. Ramon Viramontes passed at the age of 38 due to his schoolbus got stuck on a RR track and caught fire. He had brothers, sisters and children I don't Know by face just a few names. Like Chito,Conque. Ramon's mom, Del Losa Viramontes is my great great grandmother. I found out yesterday the 19th october 2010, she is burried in canitillio, texas next to my great grandfather Ramon and didn't know. But some Viramontes's are in El paso,Tx and Santa Theresa,Las Curces an Deming,New Mexco and to include California. I have to aunt's in california. I hope to here from you soon. Bye!

hi my name is jazmin viramontes sanchez and i live in fresno,california.my grandparents names are sergio viramontes montes and agripina garcia arroyo.my dad is arturo viramontes garcia and he was born in las animas,zacatecas as well as his brothers alvaro viramontes ,gustavo viramontes,sergio viramontes,baudelio viramontes,and sisters aurora viramontes,santa ana viramontes,and ofelia viramontes which all of them now live in tepic,nayarit exept for baudelio viramontes which is in alburquerque,new mexico. My great granfatrher is still alive and his name is baudelio viramontes which is 103 years old now and still lives in las animas,zacatecas with one of his sons named nicolas viramontes.some other of his sons are antonio viramontes,crecensio viramontes,and daughters are maria viramontes,luz viramontes,rosa viramontes,and trinidad viramontes.

Family of Sabino Viramontes & Jacinta Guerrero
Marriage: 12 JAN 1876 El Sagrario Or Santo Domingo, Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico

Life History: Sabino Viramontes was a Veterinarian. He traveled back and forth between Zacatecas and Tepic, Mexico.
My father Ysidro Viramontes, had told me that his grandfather had 8 bothers. I'm trying to find their names.

On Sabino Viramontes, route he had claimed to have fathered about 50 children not with the same women, but they were given the same last name "Viramontes". These are his 5 children from his wife Jacinta Guerrero.
Concepcion, Francisco, Jesus, Manuel, Fernando.

My Grandfather was Manuel Guerrero Viramontes. He married Petra Jaramillo. They had 11 children. Martina, Francisca, Santiago, Ysidro, Jacinta, Leonor, Adolfo, Maria Luisa, Amelia, Cecilia, Margarita. Only two are left from that family. My dad (Ysidro Viramontes) was born in Williams, Arizona in 1916. They were traveling from Mexico after the War. They ended up in San Bernardino, California.

I hope that this will help me and you to find more family.

You mention that your grandfather was Raul Viramontes in the Los Angeles area. Was his father Catarino Hernandez Viramontes and his mother Consuelo. If so, we may be related. I've been doing a Viramontes Family tree. In my research i have a Raul Viramontes, who is the son of Catarino, who is a son of Francisco Guerrero Viramontes, whose is a brother of Manuel Guerrero Viramontes who is my grandfather.
I hope that we are related....

My dad is a Viramontes through his Mothers side. We live in Southern CA. In the Coachella Valley, Palm Springs to be more accurate. His mother's name was Estela Viramontes. She passed away a long time ago, I believe in the late 60's at the age of 32 from Leukimia. There are more family members here, like my dad's siblings Manuel Fierro Viramontes, Aurelio Fierro Viramontes, Silvia Lupe, And Yolanda. My dad also has a few aunts and uncles that are still a live and a couple of them live here too. Javier Viramontes Marquez, Florencia Viramontes Marquez, Carmela Viramontes Marquez, and Enrique Viramontes whom past away a few years ago.

My name is Karina Fierro, but my father is Jesus Fierro Viramontes, he has two brothers, and three sisters, Manuel Fierro Viramontes, Aurelio Fierro Viramontes, Silvia Fierro Viramontes, Guadalupe Fierro Segura, and Yolanda Fierro Viramontes. Hi. Was Don Guillermo the fellow with the house overlooking San Prdro? He was my great grandmother's brother. They all came to CA during the Mexican Revolution. My fateher has been compiling a pretty nivce history of the whole story.

my gradnfather's name is Juvenal Viramontes. He was born in 1906 in Jalpa, Zacatecas. He had two brothers named Benjamin and Ramiro. Benjamin lived in Norwalk and married a woman named Helen.

I'VE BEEN DOING GENEALOGY RESEARCH WITH MY SISTER. MY GREAT AUNT RAFELA HERNANDEZ VIRAMONTES WAS MARRIED TO MANUEL VIRAMONTES VIRAMONTES. THEY ARE NOW GONE, BUT THEIR CHILDREN LIVE IN JALPA, ZACATECAS.
AS WE WERE DOING OUR RESEARCH, WE FOUND THAT VIRAMONTES DERIVED FROM THE NAME MIRAMONTE.
ALSO THROUGH L.D.S. WE OBTAINED A BAPTISM DOCUMENT THAT HAS THEIR NAME AS WELL AS THEIR PARENTS. THIS HELP TO VERIFY OUR RELATION TO THEM.
