My husband Grandmother was Tida( Nelson Virch) Horn and they lived most of their lives in Sheboygan, Wisconsin

The mother of Andrew Nelson Virch was Synneva Larsdatter and his fathers name was Borjorel Nelson of Norway.

Hello, Kelli.
My understanding is Andrew Nelson, changed his name to Virch, his wife, Oline A, maiden name during the war, since there were many Nelson's in his plattoon.
Andrew born 1845, died 1923, Oline born 1857, died 1923.
My great grandfather was Niron L Virch, born 1888, died 1928, married Amanda E Schultz, born 1895, died 1974.
My father was Clifford, born 1914, died 1982, married Ethel Trippler, born 1918.
The Virch ancestors are buried in Curtis, WI, small town north of Marshfield, WI.
I'm just getting into the geneology. I have an uncle Niron Virch, in Marquette, MI, who has done some work on this.

I have the name Tida Virch (Nelson) for my Great Grandmother on my Dad's Mom's side. :) She was born on 9 April 1892 and married Harry Horn (my Great Grandpa). He was born on April 30, 1890. Tida's parent's were Andrew Virch (Nelson?) and Olena Anderson. That's all I have. Do you have any more?
