VLCEJ WHAT I'VE LEARNED...CAN ANYONE ADD TO IT

Hi! In looking for more information on the Vlcej family I have learned that their ancestors are slovak and hungarian. My search for Pavel and Maria Vlcej have brought me the following information -

Maria Vlcej was 23 years of age in 1906 when she came from Rybki, Hungary. She was already married to Pavel and had been in the USA prior to her trip in October of 1906.

I found on the ellis island website that there are several other Vlcejs that may be related to Pavel and they are:

Antal Vlcej and his wife Agressa (sp?) who came to the US in 1905 and went to Perth Amboy, NJ. This is also where Pavel and Maria Vlcej were living.

There is a Jan Vlcej husband of Katrina who came in 1909 destination I can't make out.

Simon Vlcej who came in 1910 who was visiting a cousin. It says his destination was New Jersey as well.

I have noticed in the Social Security index there is mention of Vlcej family members in Ohio I think.

Can anyone help me piece together this family history.

Thank you.

Feel free to email me directly or leave a message here for me I'll check atleast once a week. Have a great weekend.

Pavel/Paul Vlcej

Pavel/Paul Vlcej was of (slovak) decent may have been born outside the United States. He married Mary Cemek in the early 1900's. They had atleast four sons and three daughters.

The family lived in Hopelawn (Perth Amboy), NJ when their son Stephen was born. They also lived in Neshanic.

When Paul/Pavel passed the family may have been living in South River, NJ or moved after his death. He is buried in Hopelawn, NJ.

The family lived on Whitehead Avenue (?) in South River.

Any info on the family or Pavel and/or Mary or their family would be very much appreciated
