Looking for the birth place and date of marriage of my GGgrandmother Sarah Vorhes.
She married John T. Gordon in Ohio in the late 1830's. Sarah's date of birth was Feb. 4, 1814 in Ohio. John's date of birth was Nov. 9, 1813 in Ohio. Their first born was Mary Ann, born abt 1840 in Ohio. They moved to Cass Co., IN before the 1850 census. James Monroe, first son was born in IN about 1841 or 42.
