Vorhes in McAlester, OK
I have recently done some research on a Vorhes family from McAlester, OK, and would like to confer with descendants. The progenitor was Wesley Eugene Vorhes born about 1865 in Ohio. He had sons Wesley Eugene Vorhes, Joseph Benson Vorhes, Stacey Baily Vorhes, and John B. Vorhes, and daughters Harriet, Louise, Frances, Ruth, and Isabella. The family came to McAlester about 1902.
