I have a copy of the marriage record of Obediah Vowel (this is the way the name is spelled on the record) and Rachel Frazier. The marriage license was issued Sept. 6, 1786, in Granville Co., NC. I've found other records of them in Granville Co. I'm seeing a lot of files on the Internet showing they married in Mecklinburg (actual spelling should be Mecklenburg Coo., NC. I'm trying to set the record straight.
